Keppel Electric Plans Explained: Fixed, Discount, and Green Options

Keppel Electric runs more plan types side by side than any other retailer this site tracks: four fixed-rate FIXED plans, two discount-off-tariff DOT plans, and a green-energy plan. Here's how each is priced and what actually distinguishes them.
The FIXED plans

FIXED24 and FIXED24 Special are both 24-month plans, but priced half a cent apart — FIXED24 Special is currently bundled with a limited-time sign-up bill rebate, which is almost certainly why it undercuts the standard FIXED24 at the same term. Rebate terms change often, so check Keppel's own plan page for what's currently on offer before assuming the gap will still be there.
The DOT discount-off-tariff plans
Keppel's two DOT plans are priced as a percentage discount off the prevailing SP tariff rather than a flat rate, so their effective rate moves whenever SP Group updates the tariff each quarter — see our SP tariff guide for how that works.

SURESAVE DOT's bigger discount makes it the cheaper of the two right now, and Keppel markets it as carrying no contract and no early termination charges despite the 24-month term shown against it — worth confirming directly with Keppel before signing if that flexibility is what draws you to it, since marketing copy and the contractual fine print don't always match exactly.
ecoGreen24 — the green option
ecoGreen24 is currently priced at 38.80¢/kWh, a much larger premium over standard FIXED24 (29.80¢) than the green surcharge other retailers on this site charge — roughly 9¢/kWh more, versus a fraction of a cent for Senoko's LifeGreen24 or a couple of cents for Tuas Power's PowerFIX 25 G+.
